Andy works in an organisational role within our pastoral team, helping shape Sundays, events, and providing oversight for those leading kids, youth, young adults and worship. He loves the way words have power to bring life to people and uses performance poetry and sermons to speak to the realities of life and the God who sustains all things. He does this in church, drug rehab poetry workshops, and national poetry competitions (he was a NZ poetry slam finalist in 2017). He is also passionate about sport (he will watch or play pretty much anything if it’s competitive!) and music. Along with his wife, Beks, and their three children Andy has been part of Northcity since 2013 and loves being part of a church whānau where people of differing theological positions can be united as family because of their commitment to loving God and others.
