For those in the ‘nau, you will realise that Easter is an extended period lasting through to Pentecost Sunday (May 24th) which is fifty days (“Pentecost” is a Greek word meaning fifty) from Easter Sunday, celebrating the gift of the Holy Spirit amongst the church.

As Jesus promised the outpouring of His Spirit and commissioned His disciples in Acts 1:8 that they would be ‘witnesses to Him in Jerusalem and beyond after the Holy Spirit was given’, we want to explore what that means for us today by focusing during May on many of our missional expressions—both locally and overseas.
